I've been slacking a little with the blog posts. Thats not to say I haven't been cracking on with stuff. Here's just a few of the latest experiments. I Had to inject some colour into my sketchbooks, it all looks drab and boring when its just brown and black. I used the images from some past sketchbooks as well as newer stuff straight from observation. Still a little sketchy I know, but I wanted to get it out there, maybe even get some feedback?
Hey. i really like your work, your use of colour works really well with the black lines. What media were these done in, watercolour and ink? Maybe try using your collage from previous works aswel, like the newspaper and brown paper and things? Look forward to seeing more of your work (:
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback, I've started working on that. It's been just ink drawing with watercolor as of yet, but I've been out on bought some coloured inks. Hopefully they should add a little kick of vibrance to the work.
